Huntley Preschool Philosophy
We believe that a child’s emotional growth and development is strengthened when he or she is exposed to a stimulating environment and given opportunities to learn through play. Academic skills are gradually integrated into our program as the developing child begins to feel comfortable with who he or she is as an individual as well as in relation to others.
Our Story
Huntley Preschool was first opened in 2008 by two sisters, Angela and Juanita Ellis. Both locals in West Hollywood, they worked together as a team. Angela Ellis had been working with children in both Italy and California for over 12 years and Juanita Ellis was a business leader in e-commerce and property investments. As a team they built 3 preschools in 2 years. They are both mothers, businesswomen and have been a part of this community and all their children have attended the schools. They are thankful that they were able to fill a dream that still lives on.
